MM&K attend the GECN Annual Conference in Cape Town

MM&K’s Managing Partner, Joanne Fegan attended the ninth Annual Conference of the Global Governance and Executive Compensation Group (GECN) in Cape Town in January. It was hosted by South African based group member, 21 Century.

The main topics discussed were:
– Welcome to Amanda Voegeli, President and Managing Partner of new member firm Southlea.
– Global long-term Incentive trends
– Pay ratios and reporting
– The growing importance globally of the Social and Ethics Committee and it’s interaction with the Remuneration Committee

Thanks to our hosts Chris Blair and Mark Bussin we did manage to get some time to enjoy Cape Town’s beautiful culture, history and of course amazing weather.

The next annual conference will be hosted by our new Canadian member firm, Southlea.
