MM&K’s 2021 Private Equity & Venture Capital Compensation Survey

There is still time for Private Equity and Venture Capital investment firms to participate in MM&K’s 26th annual Compensation Survey for the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Industry.

This market leading survey provides participating firms with invaluable, detailed information on both the quantum and structure of pay in the European PE, VC, Infrastructure and Real Estate fund management industries.  In the survey we collect data on base salaries, benefits, annual bonuses and carried interest plan participation, together with details on a large number of other people and reward issues.  The European Survey covers 47 investment and non-investment roles.

Through participation in our survey, participating firms are able to obtain comprehensive compensation information and data which will enable them to:

• ensure their pay levels are competitive in the market
• make informed choices on remuneration structures and policies for their business
• have informed conversations on remuneration with partners and employees
• improve staff motivation, retention and morale.

Our 2021 Survey Report which sets out the findings from the survey, will be published in the first week in October.  This year we are expecting our best ever participation levels with firms providing us with their data.
