MM&K has moved office in the city and launches new website

We had hoped for better news on the COVID front but are not surprised by the way things have turned out or by the action the Government has taken to curb the rise in cases. At least working from home is no longer the unknown quantity it was back in March. We miss the inter-personal contact with clients and colleagues but, like many professional firms, we have found that MM&K runs efficiently on home-working.

We have been busy making a number of exciting changes over the summer.

We have moved out of Bengal Court EC3, which has been our City home for many years. In some ways it feels like the end of an era but it also heralds the start of the next chapter for MM&K. This is an exciting prospect and in no way diminishes the memories of our past good times together.

Our new City base is 1, King William Street, London EC4N 7AF. Emails and telephone numbers remain unchanged.

We will continue with home-working but our new base provides the perfect hub for working and meeting with clients and colleagues, as circumstances permit. Located in the heart of the City, it has excellent transport and communications links.

We have re-branded MM&K and launched a new web-site. This new site has been designed to be more inter-active and to provide an easy to use communication channel between us and our clients and contacts, as well as being an attractive shop window for the firm. We hope you find it helpful.

We are constantly looking at ways to bring us closer to our market and, in that connection, MM&K has joined the London Stock Exchange Group Issuer Services Platform. Through the LSEG, we produce and participate in webinars and presentations on remuneration, governance and related topics. Recently, I was invited by Tom Hinton, Head of Issuer Services, to discuss trends in remuneration and a recording of the interview can be accessed here.

As many of you will be aware, MM&K is an independent UK-based firm. We are also a GECN Group company. Currently, the GECN Group comprises five independent advisory firms specialising in executive remuneration and corporate governance and has offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Kyiv, Geneva, Zurich, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney. We are hopeful that a sixth firm will join the group soon. We cooperate with other GECN Group companies on joint multi-national client and research projects.  My colleague, Margarita Skripina has recently written an article about a major global ESG research project undertaken by the GECN Group this year, which has involved all the GECN Group companies.
